Owner + Creative Director

Born and raised in Auburn, Alabama, Allison grew up knowing and understanding the true essence of southern hospitality- showing graciousness, kindness, and warmth to others. After graduating from Auburn University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Hospitality Management, Allison found herself eager to share her concept of southern hospitality and to expand her event experience outside of the South.

Since 2014, Allison has planned and designed numerous events ranging from corporate meetings and conferences to luxury weddings and elaborate galas. She has managed special events’ operations at the four-star Resort at Squaw Creek, planned large scale conferences for the University of Nevada, and most recently served as the wedding and event manager for a Tahoe ski resort.

Allison began assisting former owner of Forget Me Knot Events, Donna Putnam, where she was able to demonstrate her creativity and attention to detail. Over the years, clients have come to recognize Allison for her calm demeanor, strong presence, and adventurous spirit. Her passion for the business blossomed and in 2018, she became the new owner of Forget Me Knot Events.

Whether it be a simple board meeting or a luxury wedding, Allison’s purpose is the same: to cultivate connection. “Living in a culture where the world is at the tips of your fingers, I find that many have inadvertently sacrificed human interaction and connection,” says Allison. “My passion is creating experiences that bring people together. I thrive on designing events that are not only innovative and extraordinary, but also create and promote human connection in its rawest form.”
